Taking care of the environment is an important concern of RIWAX. All employees act in accordance with this motto in their respective fields. Starting with the use of raw materials, through the use of a modern vehicle fleet, to the reuse of empty containers: Riwax today produces modern vehicle care products for the environment of tomorrow. To this end, we promote respectful coexistence, fair working conditions, and the health of our employees. In addition, Riwax will publish the first sustainability report at the end of 2025 with goals and progress along the ESG criteria.

Environmentally friendly & sustainable

Sustainability is an integral part of Riwax’s corporate strategy. In product development, we place great emphasis on sustainable alternatives in the selection of raw materials. Carefully selected components and the elimination of potentially harmful substances are crucial. We also place great importance on the highest environmental standards in production and packaging. The local production in Switzerland, the absence of microplastics, and the high proportion of biodegradable ingredients underline our commitment.

Circulation economy

The return and recycling of empty commercial containers supports our company’s environmental goals. The free return also relieves customers of the burden of disposal. The containers are collected, inspected, washed, and reused during the next delivery. By returning and reusing commercial containers, significant savings can be achieved in CO₂ and crude oil per year. This ensures a closed loop system.

Renewable energy

Riwax consistently invests in sustainable operations: We operate a large-scale photovoltaic system on the entire roof of our corporate building to generate our own electricity. Throughout the company premises, we rely on energy-efficient LED lighting, and a modern heat pump ensures environmentally friendly heating. These measures significantly reduce our energy consumption and reduce CO₂ emissions – another important step towards a resource-saving and climate-friendly operating method.
